We are a forward-thinking company dedicated to developing innovative water protection and
resilience solutions that safeguard communities, infrastructure, and the environment.
Aqua Resist was born from a recognition that traditional approaches to water management and climate resilience were insufficient to meet the growing challenges facing communities worldwide.
Founded on the principle that innovative science and community-centered design could create transformative solutions, we set out to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical, implementable systems.
Today, we continue to push boundaries, combining advanced technology with deep community engagement to deliver solutions that are both scientifically sound and culturally appropriate.

Aqua Resist was founded by Oluwafeyisayo Obadimu, a public health scientist and pharmacist whose pioneering research has reshaped how water disinfection is understood and applied globally. He holds an MPH from Eastern Kentucky University in the United States and a Bachelors in Pharmacy from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria. With this dual background, he uncovered how ultraviolet radiation, when misapplied, can inadvertently promote antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This first of its kind discovery has been validated by adoption by both the academic community and state governments.
Mr. Obadimu founded Aqua Resist to translate this breakthrough into practical solutions. Under his leadership, the company is developing surveillance tools, safety frameworks, and implementation guides that help governments, NGOs, and public health agencies mitigate AMR risks while strengthening water resilience. His work has been presented at leading conferences including the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) Conference, and has won awards for innovation and impact. He continues to bridge science, policy, and practice, positioning Aqua Resist as a platform that protects public health while driving sustainable infrastructure in the U.S., Nigeria, and beyond.
